Whether you’re generating your first image or fine-tuning a complex composition, Invoke 6.0 brings studio-grade tools to your fingertips.
A Refined Interface That Works the Way You Do
One of the most requested features is back: the Generate tab. In 5.0, we unified everything into one canvas, which gave power users more flexibility but made it harder for new users to get started. The new Generate tab simplifies that process, with a dedicated space for quick text-to-image generation.
We’ve also introduced Launchpads across the app. Each tab now has its own quickstart panel with guidance, buttons, and preset actions to help you get going faster.
Model & LoRA Tools: Smarter, Sharper, More Intuitive
The Model and LoRA selectors now include filtering, previews, and linked model visualization. That means you can easily see which concept models or LoRAs are connected to your core model and preview them without leaving the interface. It’s never been easier to explore your model library and create something new.
Canvas Upgrades for Power and Precision
Invoke 6.0 introduces several enhancements to the canvas experience:
- Bulk Hide Tool: Instantly hide all non-raster layers (like controlnets or guidance overlays) with a single click or Shift+H.
- Rule of Thirds Guides: Enable compositional guides directly inside the bounding box.
- Smarter Image Importing: Automatically resize and prep imported images for your selected model and canvas.
You’ll also notice that global reference images are no longer shown as layers — they now live directly beneath the prompt area for clarity and cleaner workflow.
Export to PSD (Finally!)
For creators who want to finish their work in Photoshop, you can now export your canvas layers directly to a PSD file. Every raster layer is preserved, making Invoke a seamless part of your professional toolchain.
Edit with Prompts Using Flux Kontext
Invoke’s Flux Context models let you edit images just by describing what you want. Previously, only hosted Pro users had access to Flux Kontext Max and Flux Kontext Pro — powerful instructive models designed for creative editing with simple prompts.
With Invoke 6.0, we’re making this capability available to everyone. A new, lightweight model called Flux Kontext Dev is now available in the Community Edition. It runs locally for Community users, will be coming soon to hosted plans.
Just bring in a reference image and describe your change:
- “Make this look like a painting.”
- “Add fog in the background.”
- “Turn this into a night scene.”
Whether you’re removing objects, changing moods, or blending styles, Flux Kontext Dev helps you make high-quality edits without needing masks, layers, or manual tweaks.
Prompt Expansion + Image-to-Prompt
Invoke Professional Edition users now get access to smart prompt expansion and image-to-prompt generation directly inside the studio. Start with a rough idea, drag in an image, or let the system generate a prompt tuned to the model you’re using (e.g., SDXL or Flux). It’s a fast way to get inspiration or tighten your creative direction.
More Coming Soon
Invoke 6.0 is packed with improvements designed to make image generation smoother, editing more powerful, and the interface more intuitive. We’re already working on the next round of updates, so stay tuned and let us know what you create with it.
