Note: This problem will ONLY concern you if you received an email invitation to participate in this session.
Symptoms:
Login does not succeed – identification problem Message is displayed:
"Login unsuccessful. Please check your UserID and password and try again. Tip: Please check the case of the letters you typed, and whether you inserted spaces or tabs. If the problem persists, contact your administrator".
Cause of the Problem:
Wrong password was inserted.
Solution:
- Verify that the UserID was automatically inserted
In the login page, did the User ID field contain your correct User ID as given in the Invitation you received by mail?
If instead of the User ID it contained the word "undefined" go here.
- Check Caps-Lock
Check that the Caps-Lock key is not on, press Caps-Lock and see if a light on the right of your keyboard goes off.
- Check multi-lingual Windows:
Does your operation system support other languages? Can you type languages other than English, like Spanish, on your computer?
If it does, check that you are typing in English before you enter the password.
- Enter the password manually:
Type in the password manually, do not copy and paste it from the invitation, because copying the password may copy extra characters with it.
- If you are sure nothing is wrong, but still the message appears:
Contact the helpdesk at the toll free number that appears at the top of the survey screen, or in the error message screen.
