Symptoms:
After the dashboard installation a dialogue box message appears, that indicates that the security level is not set to medium. There are different messages for Online and Offline installations.
“Compatibility Check - Our compatibility test indicates that: Your security level is not set to "Medium". In order to run this application, you will need to reset the level to "Medium".”
Cause of the Problem:
The browser’s security and/or Privacy settings are incompatible.
Solution:
If you have a 'CONTINUE' option:
- Click on the ‘CONTINUE’ button on the bottom right hand side, this will automatically configure your security level to medium.
If you don't have a 'CONTINUE' option (an Offline Installation):
Check and change security settings:
- Internet Explorer security settings:
Go to start -> settings -> control panel (Windows XP: start ->control panel), choose ‘Internet Options’, now click on the SECURITY tab. Make sure that the GLOBE icon on the far left which says “internet” is highlighted. Is your security level set to medium? If not, click the DEFAULT LEVEL button.
- Internet Explorer privacy settings (exists only on IE 6)
If you also have a privacy tab, click on it, Is it set to medium? If not, click the DEFAULT LEVEL button.
- Retry:
Press the ‘CLOSE’ button at the bottom right hand side of the error message and click on the URL again.
